| Dr. Meister |

Dr. Meister completed his internship and residency training in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed one year of his subspecialty training in gastroenterology at Washington University-Barnes Hospital in St. Louis Missouri and the remainder at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington Kentucky where he received an academic appointment as an assistant professor of medicine. While on faculty for four years he performed clinical research and advanced endoscopic procedures, especially in the area of diagnosis and treatment of cancers of the digestive tract and liver disease. He has published several medical articles and participates in clinical research. His areas of special interests include diseases of the liver and pancreas, inflammatory bowel disease, capsule endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, and advanced endoscopic procedures. He is currently on the medical advisory board of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis foundation. Dr. Meister is an avid skier, loves college sports, travel, music, and his dogs.
